STUDY HALL SUCKS!!!

I feel that study hall is affecting my career because if I miss just a few minutes I get suspended from practice. Therefore, I am missing out on key workouts and when you miss out on workouts, you fall behind and won't be able to succeed at your sport. People say practice makes perfect, and if I can't go to practice, then I will never be perfect. Ten hours a week is a bit extreme when it only stays open untill 10:00 pm, and I don't get out of practice untill about 6:30. By then, I am extremly exhausted and hungry. I never have time to eat because we can't eat in study hall and our coach says they do not want us to eat after 8:00 pm. How is this possible when I don't get out of study hall untill 8:00, 9:00 or 10:00 depending on how many hours I have. In my opinion, study hall is pointless because I honestly can't focus on studying. I am looking at my phone every second just to see how long I've been in there. If I just go in there and study I will eventually run out of things to study and fall asleep. To sum up this paragraph, study hall sucks!

Post for week of jan. 18

In ten years I would like to be professional in track and field, running for Nike, with a degree from Clemson University. Being professional in track means I get to travel from country to country doing what I love to do most, run. I would like to be living in California, Atlanta, or Charlotte. For my lifestyle, I would hope to be wealthy, happily married with at least two kids. I also would like to be a head track and field coach for any D-1 college.

Web 2.0

The title of the video is very significant. To me the title is asking a simple question, are we the machine, or is the machine using us? Sometimes when you are putting information on to the web you fail to realize that the information is public. This can lead to many issues. For someone who is looking for a job, you never know how much research your employer is actually doing on you before hiring you. You should always beware of the pictures or general information that you have up about yourself. Even once you have been hired you have to make sure that all of the information that you introduce to the web will be accepted by your employers. Because so much personal information is placed on the web, we have to begin thinking of the consequences, such as identity theft. Although the web possess the positives of connecting everyone, there are also negatives that we need to continue to realize.
