Web 2.0

The title of the video is very significant. To me the title is asking a simple question, are we the machine, or is the machine using us? Sometimes when you are putting information on to the web you fail to realize that the information is public. This can lead to many issues. For someone who is looking for a job, you never know how much research your employer is actually doing on you before hiring you. You should always beware of the pictures or general information that you have up about yourself. Even once you have been hired you have to make sure that all of the information that you introduce to the web will be accepted by your employers. Because so much personal information is placed on the web, we have to begin thinking of the consequences, such as identity theft. Although the web possess the positives of connecting everyone, there are also negatives that we need to continue to realize.
